We Volunteer

We Volunteer will be organising the event “Draw your Dreams”- III , this time with the little less fortunate kids at Mother Teresa Home, Sector 23 , Chandigarh (opposite Bal Bhawan).

To motivate the youth of Chandigarh, to regularly participate in such social events and thus, be socially more responsible and active, the famous Punjabi Rapstar – BOHEMIA would also be volunteering for the event. The renowned star wishes to interact the kids as well as the volunteers and do his share of bit to initiative this movement of making the young india more socially aware and active !

Draw your Dreams is an event for the kids to draw, paint and color their dreams out on the canvas. Visualising their dreams by means of spilling some creativity or be it just having some fun with the colors, the kids are sure to have loads of fun.

Who are Eligible :Final year Engineering students Unmarried Male Indian Citizens

for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Technical Branches of Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES)

Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1986 to 01 July 1991; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : Applicant should be studying in AICTE approved College/Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks till pre final year (Those in the final years need not apply):

Engineering Branch : Mechanical / Marine / Aeronautical / Production / Metallurgy (Only Men to apply)

Naval Architecture Cadre : Naval Architecture/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautical (Both Men and Women can apply)

Electrical Branch : Electrical/ Electronics/ Tele Communication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Communication/ Power Engineering / Control System Engineering / Power Electronics/ Computer Scinece Engineering (Only Men to apply)

Physical Standards : Height and Weight : Minimum height Male - 157 cms and Female - 152 cms with correlated weight.

Eye Sight - 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
