Notice for an Off Campus Placement Drive

We are pleased to announce that IBM India Pvt Ltd. will be conducting a joint campus placement drive at Rayat & Bahra Hoshiarpur Campus forBE/B. Tech (CSE /IT / ECE / EE/ EIE)/ MCA/ M.Tech students of 2009 & 2010 Batches on 26^th and 27^th June 2010.  The details are as follows:

Eligibility:                       - BE/B. Tech (CSE /IT / ECE / EE/ EIE)/ MCA/ M.Tech

                                       -  Batches 2009 & 2010

                                       -  Min. 70% and above on aggregate in Degree with no

                                          backlogs.

Job Profile:                                                   Systems Administrator - In Oracle DBA / SQL

                                                      DBA / SAP Basis /Lotus Notes /

                                                      Middleware / Mainframes  areas. This

                                                      role would involve working within a Remote

                                                      Delivery Center Environment, providing 1st and

                                                      2nd level operations support and maintenance of

                                                      Databases, Applications, Mainframes and other

                                                      third party products for IBM Global Customers

 

Preferred Skills–Technical:      - To provide R.A.S. – Remote Access Server Operations

                                                     & Support in Global Business Environment.

                                                   - The role involves mission critical system for IBM clients

                                                   - Implement changes, perform security related tasks,

                                                      identify and recommend improvements to  existing

                                                      processes and procedures.

                                                    -  Perform roles or tasks assigned by  TL/manager .

                                                    -  Work friendly with other team members

                                                    -  Willing to relocate anywhere in India

                                                    -  Willing to Travel (Domestic/Onsite)

                                                    -  Ready to migrate from one platform to other (Eg,

                                                       DBA to Application Support or Mainframes)
